Senior Backend Engineer – AI focus

Your mission

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer who will join an existing development team to build a Low-code/No-code SaaS platform for the public sector.

What to expect in your new role:

Collaborate with frontend, and design professionals to further develop our SaaS platform that satisfies the needs of our customers and internal users.
Develop server-side logic, including data storage, to optimize the platform’s performance.
Provide code reviews and implement suggested improvements to your own code.

Your profile

You have a pronounced hands-on mentality with a structured and solution-oriented way of working.
You show great skills in Go, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
You bring a good understanding of modern backend development practices and underlying technologies.
You can recognize the underlying design concepts of scalable applications and provide a thorough understanding of backend development principles.
Constructing well-structured, maintainable code and implementing automated testing is no big deal for you.
You have in-depth understanding of version control systems such as Git.
You are passionate about improving systems and building processes from scratch.
You have experience with Generative AI and worked with integrating applications with AI.

Nice-to-haves:

Knowledge of GitHub Actions.
Experience with self hosted LLMs.
Understanding of machine learning concepts.
Experience in solution architecture.
Interest in new technologies and readiness to learn them.
Knowledge of various application architectures.
Experience with the use of cloud solutions, such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure.
A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
